Description of Property at
2630 Co Rd 437
A day in the country Waking up early in the country has its blessings. On these cool fall mornings as you hit the coffee maker, you can grab a blanket off the front porch rocker and watch as the world wakes up. Once the coffee is done, bring your cup onto the porch and see the cows as they come up to say their good mornings. You can hear the neighbors’ roosters waking (can only hear outside) and the pigs hungry for breakfast. You’ll also see lots of hummingbirds getting their breakfast and if you’re lucky, watch deer getting their morning drink down by the tank. Keep the feeders full and you never know what you’ll see. One doe had twins and they are still on the property. On those sultry humid mornings and evenings, just turn on the porch ceiling fans for the perfect breeze. Once the first cup is down, you can get your second cup and start getting dressed for the day. No worries about the large master suite windows, no neighbors close to see and lots of privacy. Master closet has custom shelving and multiple hanging areas. Now go out and pick the eggs, freshest ever and some will even still be warm!! We loved our chickens. Farm eggs go best with thick sliced bacon from Rockdale Meat Market just down Hwy 79. Coming home after a stressful day of work is great, you have the beautiful drive to decompress. If you’d like, put a fire outside in the fire ring for roasted hotdogs or sausage wraps, grilled burgers, and s’mores. Sitting outside as the world goes to sleep, you will see the most amazing display of stars. No city lights to interfere with the sky’s beauty. We’ve even seen the Space Station flying overhead. Lots of afternoon/evening shade on front porch makes a perfect place for entertaining or evening porch sitting. We had a propane fire pit for the front porch too! This house kept us safe and warm during the Snowmageddon of 2021. Wood burning fireplace with propane jet lighter, propane water heaters and propane stove and oven. Warm house, hot showers, and hot food. Plenty of wood on property too. Dual ovens give you the option of propane or electric. We were blessed. With this much land you’ll have your own camping world and place to target practice with fire arms or archery. Your kids can play outside and get dirty knowing they are not going to upset Mom. Coming in the side door utility room they can strip down, throw dirty clothes directly into washer and jump in shower without trapsing through the whole house. Perfect for those hot days of mowing grass too. When the kids are off to college, the upstairs can be completely separate with its own HVAC system and water heater. Upstairs you will love the Jack & Jill bathroom, so many arguments avoided with this set up. Upstairs living room area is great for movies, gaming and sleep overs. Downstairs is set up for single level living. Owning this land is like having your own nature park. Walking down by the tank and through the tree break is so peaceful. When the weather blesses us with rain, the wet weather creek runs and fills up the tank again for the cows and deer. Bass, catfish and perch can be had for dinner.
